BIOGRAPHY
For over 3 years now Alex Mandell has been a member of the co-production and acquisitions team of Paramount Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions group. Aside from sourcing local talent, Alex is often the first port of call for all project submissions and from these is required to seek out potential local language development, co-production and acquisition opportunities for the European market.
Alex started his professional career at United International Pictures (UIP) in their European Middle East and Africa (EMEA) distribution office working closely on UIP’s releases across the region. He then moved onto Paramount Pictures International to perform a similar role until the co-production and acquisitions office started in 2007.
Alex has also had short stints at Momentum Pictures, Working Title and Coded Pictures in both distribution and production respectively.
