Terms and conditions

The London Screenwriters’ Festival (LSF) sets out to secure agreements from each speaker and workshop leader prior to announcing their involvement and commitment to appear. However, one or more speakers may be unable to appear or may not arrive at their scheduled time for any number of reasons. The Festival cannot be responsible if a speaker does not appear as scheduled.

Additionally, the London Screenwriters' Festival sessions and workshops may be cancelled or rescheduled at any time; and the London Screenwriters' Festival retains the right to change the content of any session at any time.

For ticket holders who have bought their ticket after August 25th 2020, LSF offers a refund should you choose to not attend (minus 10% admin) so long as you make the request on or before May 31st 2021 at midnight BST. If you pass that date, LSF offers a 50% refund (minus 10% admin) from June 1st 2021 to July 15th 2021 at midnight BST. Beyond that point no refunds are possible though you can sell or gift your ticket. We are not liable for any costs to attend an event should it be cancelled or postponed, such as transport, accommodation or loss of earnings. In the event of force majeure (events beyond our control) we will reschedule the event when reasonably practical and you will be issued a ticket for rescheduled dates. You will not be entitled to a refund. If you are unable to attend the new dates, you can gift or resell your ticket or use the value in credit towards the cost of our other events either in the real world or online.

LSF are no longer offering rollover tickets to the next festival if you are unable to or choose not to attend. Tickets are transferable to other people if you can find someone to replace you or buy your pass provided you notify us via email of the transferee’s name. We are happy to change the name on the ticket (to be clear, you can gift or resell your ticket). Please allow 48 hours for a change of name on the pass to take place. We reserve the right to decline admission and offer a full refund at our discretion. We reserve the right to change the venue and dates of the event and in some circumstances, move the event online. We reserve the right to cancel the event and offer a full refund.
