Robert Macfarlane started out directing micro music videos and short films and then in 2012, he moved to Trinidad and Tobago. There Robert worked in a plethora of roles on feature films, commercials and corporate films such as DOP, Editor and DIT.
After returning to the UK, he became the creative director at a boutique production house where he directed over 40 high end corporate and educational films.
With these years of experience, he is now focussing on narrative film and developing his first feature film. Additionally, Robert runs a YouTube Channel sharing his love and knowledge of how films are made with a new audience.
What we are looking for:
Character-driven dramas and/or thrillers, as well as stories that have a sub-genre of science fiction and/or mystery. Although not an exhaustive list, themes that interest them and want to explore more are love, family and prejudice or inequality.
