Speed Pitching returns to the London Screenwriters’ Festival this year, and with extra sessions, it’s bigger than ever!
As an LSF delegate, you have the opportunity to pitch your project to agents, producers or commissioners in one of our Speed Pitching sessions. This means face to face time with the very people who could launch your career, option your script or offer insight into how to improve your pitching techniques.
Last year’s Speed Pitching sessions were a highlight of the festival, with at least one writer creating a relationship that led directly to a $20m feature in Hollywood. RESULT! This year over 120 agents, producers and commissioners are coming along to connect with the newest projects and talent.
After Speed Pitching, there will be informal networking drinks supported by SkillSet, giving you the chance to follow up on any positive encounters. You must register to be sure of a place, and seats will go fast – so take action now.
How does it work?
- Only delegates can enter Speed Pitching, so you must buy your ticket first!
- In the late summer you will be sent an email inviting you to complete our short questionnaire. This helps us match you to the person best suited to your project.
- You will receive an email in the lead up to the festival with the details of your Speed Pitching session enclosed.
- You can then get researching who you will be pitching to and get rehearsing that killer pitch!
We will be posting the panellist line up on the website soon. However we STRONGLY suggest you book early as our list is already impressive and will sell out.
There will be Speed Pitching sessions on all three days of the festival.
