The London Screenwriters’ Festival is delighted to announce that we are now able to offer cut price AND on-campus student accommodation courtesy of Regent’s University Student halls.

You have been asking for it and finally we have made it happen.

4343288602_f298c10867_b(1)This will be the cheapest and most central way to stay in London for the festival. And for those of us who were lucky enough to go to university this is a fabulous opportunity to relive those days of room sharing and staying up too late and all sorts of shenanigans!

Now you can fully immerse yourself into the LSF experience by never leaving the venue! No more worrying about catching the last tube or navigating your way back to your friend’s sofa at silly o’clock. You can network till dawn then roll straight out of bed and into the first session raring to go.

4330328902_7079b786f7_bStaying on campus is a sure fire way to not only save valuable sheckles, but you’ll highly increase your networking opportunities after hours with over 200 other delegates after everyone else has gone home.

FAQ

What if I have booked with another hotel?
Check your current hotel’s cancellation policy.  Unless you have booked and paid an advance booking (non refundable) special rate most hotels will allow you to cancel 24-48 hrs before your check in date.  Do make sure and check availability with Regent’s University first to make sure they have a room/bed available for you before cancelling any existing bookings elsewhere.

What if I can’t attend? Can I get a refund?
Presently Regent’s University are unable to offer refunds on any bookings so please ensure that you are 100% committed before booking.  If for any reason you are unable to attend and will not be requiring your room/bed, you may well be able to transfer on to another friend or delegate. In such an event, please contact Regent’s University booking department to discuss here: shortcourses@regents.ac.uk

Can I share with friends I know?
Yes. If you have a group of two or three people already organised, subject to availability you can book a double or triple room accordingly.  You can discuss this with the accommodation officer at the time of booking, make sure and have your friend’s names and contact details available when you make the booking.

Is it first come first served?
Yes.

What if I am on my own but happy to share?
Unless you are booking a single room then you will most likely be sharing with one if not two people.  You can discuss your room preferences with the accommodation officer.  Beds will be allocated subject to availability at the time of booking.

What about catering?
There are several catering outlets on campus including a Brasserie and the Refrectory which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a coffee shop on the Quad. You can buy hot and cold food from these outlets with cash or card.
