James was an actor for over sixteen years and worked all over the UK and Europe in theatre and TV.  After going doing a Masters degree in 2018, he began working with writers and providing script coverage for various production companies.

He joined the development team at Company Pictures in February 2019 and has since been developing a broad slate of projects, from historical crime to speculative sci-fi.

He likes blackly comic, irreverent drama that has a strong authorial voice.
