After graduating from the University of Tasmania, Australia, with a degree in Theatre Production, Jessie received the University’s Theatrical Development Award. She then became an Associate Lecturer in drama in the University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts, before moving to the state film funding office Screen Tasmania, where she was the Administrator.

Prior to joining Goalpost Film, Jessie was a producer at Goalpost Pictures in Sydney, where her credits include Associate Producer and Music Supervisor on Cherie Nowlan’s Sundance hit Clubland, Co-producer of Julien Temple’s film opera The Eternity Man, and Producer of Deborah Mailman’s short film Ralph, (which received the 2009 IF Award for best short film).

As Production and Development Executive at Goalpost Film, Jessie has worked on the sales and marketing strategies for all of the company’s projects including Rupert Wyatt’s The Escapist, Michael Winterbottom’s The Trip andThe Trip to Italy, Wayne Blair’s The Sapphires and Neil Armfield’s Holding the Man. She is also developing a number of projects to produce for Goalpost Film.

Goalpost Film is a worldwide sales, financing and production company that enables independent feature films. Titles being presented by Goalpost Film include “Holding the Man” directed by Neil Armfield, Michael Winterbottom’s “The Trip To Italy” starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, the follow up to their successful journey with “The Trip”, and “Six Mile Manor” written by Keith Thompson.

Goalpost Film also represents musical drama “The Sapphires” directed by Wayne Blair and starring Chris O’Dowd; the acclaimed feature documentary “Three Miles North of Molkom” by Robert Cannan and Corinna Villari-McFarlane; Henrique Goldman’s “Jean Charles” starring Selton Mello; “The Escapist” starring Brian Cox and Joseph Fiennes; “Clubland” starring Brenda Blethyn; “Closed For Winter” starring Natalie Imbruglia; “Whirlygirl” directed by Jim Wilson; “Head Above Water” starring Cameron Diaz; and multi Oscar classic “Dances With Wolves” starring Kevin Costner.
