It’s the same rules as the Great British Pitchfest, only it will take place over Skype in the evenings of the festival (Read Great British Pitchfest rules and guide HERE)
And you get to pitch – face to face over Skype – with Hollywood producers and execs. Sessions are 90 minutes and you should get around 7 or 8 pitches in during that time.
Anyone who has used Skype will know there is a high chance of dropped and failed calls, so if you come to this session, you must be prepared for things to go wrong. Fingers crossed they won’t…
The Hollywood Pitchfest is NOT an addition to the Great British Pitchfest, you can choose only one. This is one way we are making more slots available for delegates at the festival.
You should have electronic versions of your writing / sales material ready to email execs who are interested in your project.
The Hollywood Pitchfest is supported and organised by Road Map Writers who give screenwriters the tools needed to take their projects to the next level. You can find out more about these lovely people at www.roadmapwriters.com
I pitched in the Hollywood PitchFest and three of my scripts have been requested!
