For nearly 25 years, television stalwart Frank Spotnitz has brought our paranoia to the foreground by combining conspiracies, mind-reading FBI profilers, aliens, and one Cigarette Smoking Man (not to mention Adolph Hitler himself) to tickle our amygdalas and stimulate our imaginations.

Throughout his award-winning career as a writer, producer, and showrunner, Frank abducted our imaginations by writing over 40 episodes of The X-Files, then expanded the X-iverse with The Lone Gunmen and Millennium. His ability to capture and nurture the seeds of truth from which paranoia and conspiracy grow have gone on to serve him in projects like Harsh Realm and The Man In The High Castle, adapted from the work of Philip K. Dick and produced by Ridley Scott.

Spotnitz shares three Golden Globes for Best Drama Series and a Peabody Award for his work on The X-Files. He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for writing and three times for Outstanding Drama Series.

For the past five years, Frank has been Chief Executive of Big Light Productions Ltd, based in London and Paris. In addition to The Man in the High Castle, the series he has created for Big Light include Medici: Masters of Florence, Ransom and The Indian Detective.

For our latest Breakfast Club offering, we have coaxed Frank out of the darkness and into the morning to share his wit and wisdom compiled through his storied career. Following breakfast, Frank will sit down with LSF regular Bob Schultz to discuss the changes in the television industry since his time on the show that launched the Fox Network, the challenges of adapting an author as classic as Philip K. Dick, and whatever questions you have.

A rare opportunity to pick the brain of one of the most sought-after writers and showrunners in the world, this Breakfast Club is not to be missed.

NOTE:  There will be Breakfast and Networking in the Refectory from 8.30am. In order to keep the price down, Breakfast is not included in the ticket price but is very reasonably priced at the venue. Expect to pay around £5 for breakfast and coffee.
